About
Katelyn Lueth is a digitally focused artist based in Spearfish, South Dakota. Growing up on a small cattle operation in Eastern South Dakota, her agricultural roots continue to shape her work, motivating her to highlight the authenticity, hard work, and stories found within rural communities. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing at Black Hills State University, with an expected graduation in May 2026. Precision, clean composition, and thoughtful color choices are central to Katelyn’s digital practice, often informed by her experiences in printmaking and traditional drawing.
Her work has been recognized with a Silver American Advertising Award in February 2024 for a series of color-focused national monument posters. In the summer of 2025, she completed a marketing internship with a local mosquito repellent and lighting company, gaining practical experience in brand promotion and visual communication. She has also consistently earned placement on the Dean’s List throughout her college career. Katelyn is currently exploring a range of creative projects as she continues to refine her artistic voice and develop the direction of her future work.
